I so enjoyed photographing this lovely family!  In so many ways, their family is similar to mine, which made this shoot even more fun for me.  Kristen, Ed, Harrison and their dog Bay live here in Golden.  The similarities include the following:  Kristen and I both have a twin sister (and our names both begin with a K), one little boy, one adorable doggie (hers is yellow & mine is black), we live in the same unbelievably awesome neighborhood, and have Red Sox love in our families. (smile!)  Kristen's sister was in town when we did their shoot, so she was in some of the pictures, as well.  Unlike myself, Kristen and Karen are identical twins.  I don't think I need to clarify that, as you will see a picture of them together below.  

We met in Golden, our beautiful town right next to the foothills.  Our second stop was to the railroad tracks, which make for some pretty cool "rustic" shots.   

I have posted some images from their session.  Their son is five and I loved capturing him just being a silly little boy, making funny faces and making mom and dad laugh.  I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I do!
